The maintenance of the mechanical part of the vertical injection molding machine mainly includes the following:

1. Template parallelism
Template parallelism is an important indicator reflecting the condition of the locking part. If the template is not parallel, it will result in product failure and accelerate part wear. It is necessary to focus on checking the fit clearance and wear degree of the dynamic template, static template, and guide column of the injection molding machine, while paying attention to the wear status of the machine hinge.

2. Adjustment of mold thickness
The mold thickness adjustment system consists of a mold adjustment device and a mold adjustment template, and requires regular functional testing. The specific method is to adjust the mold thickness from the thickest to the thinnest, and then adjust it in reverse again to ensure smooth operation. This inspection is particularly important for vertical injection molding machines that use the same mold for a long time, which can effectively prevent failures caused by clamping stagnation of the mold adjustment system.

3. Central lubrication system
Mechanical moving parts need to be adequately lubricated. The oil volume of the central lubrication system should be regularly replenished to ensure that the oil pipes are not blocked or leaking, and any problems should be repaired in a timely manner. The locking system adopts centralized lubrication, and the manual pump needs to be pulled several times during operation to ensure that all lubrication points are supplied with oil. Oil should be added at least twice per shift. In addition, the lubrication of key parts such as mold adjustment nuts, pull rod threads, upper and lower clamping plates, and injection table grease fittings should be recorded and included in the daily inspection of the vertical injection molding machine.

4. Smooth mechanical transmission
Mechanical transmission should maintain smooth movements and avoid vibration or jamming. If the movement is not smooth, it may be related to improper speed parameter settings. Such vibrations can accelerate mechanical wear or cause loosening of fastening screws. By optimizing parameter adjustments and regular maintenance, vibration can be reduced and the lifespan of vertical injection molding machines can be extended.

5. Bearing inspection
If the bearing makes abnormal noise or experiences a sudden temperature rise during operation, it indicates severe wear and requires immediate shutdown for inspection and replacement. Regular diagnosis of bearing status is an important measure to prevent sudden failures.
